Pima Community College's Center for Transportation Training hosted a seminar for Boy Scouts from the Catalina Council of the Boy Scouts of America on October 7, 2017.The Boy Scouts offer a merit badge series that includes a Truck Transportation badge. LA Fleet Week Tours by METRANS PSR

On September 2, 2017, approximately 80 students faculty, staff and alumni from USC, CSULB, UCI, and UCLA  participated in LA Fleet Week tours, sponsored by METRANS.  Some added the experience of local transit to their trip, meeting at USC’s University Park campus, walking two blocks together to the local Metro Silver Line station, and forty minutes later, arriving to participate in the numerous festivities San Pedro had to offer.
