METRANS conferences, seminars, and workshops provide forums for researchers to share findings from projects that have recently been completed or are in development. They also allow the research community to engage practitioners, the public sector and the broader community in matters of critical interest to all transportation professionals. METRANS outreach programs take a variety of forms including the annual Center for International Trade and Transportation State of the Trade and Transportation Industry Town Hall meeting; the International Urban Freight Conference, a unique gathering of researchers and industry experts with an interest in examining the impacts of goods movement and international trade in metropolitan areas; and other research seminars, webinars and conferences. METRANS also shares research findings and news about our events via METRANS News and on podcasts, Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter.
