On April 11, 2018 WTS-LA hosted a breakfast event with LA Metros Chief Planning officer Theresa McMillan. In her role with Metro, McMillan has been responsible for helping nearly 10 million people use public transportation since April 2016. On February 24 th , WTS-Orange County Transportation YOU 4 th Annual Girls Engineering Day was held at South Junior High School in Anaheim. The goal of this event is to help girls in middle school or high school get to know more about engineering fields. On March 24 th , 2018, students and alumni from USC, UCLA, UCI, Cal State Fullerton and other universities visited KOA Corporation and the Anaheim Regional Transportation Intermodal Center (ARTIC) for behind-the-scenes guided tours. The two are located adjacent to each other in Orange County, California.
