The METRANS Mentor Program helps students and recent graduates discover careers in transportation through impactful mentoring partnerships. This program is meant for students who are driven, responsible, and eager to learn about the transportation industry. Since its launch in 2011, the Mentor Program has successfully partnered over 100 students and recent graduates with professionals in the transportation industry. Our program is unique because, while we do have some mentors who regularly participate in the program, we work very diligently to seek out specific mentors for each participant based on aligned interests and career goals. If you are diligent, motivated, and interested in a career in transportation, this program may be for you! 

Our mentor program has featured many successful virtual mentorship partnerships in the past, and we are optimistic about our transition to an exclusively-virtual mentor program this year in light of the COVID-19 pandemic. We plan to host several virtual events for our mentees and mentors, and we are excited to bolster these strong partnerships through programming like METRANS seminars and our monthly Mentor Program email blast.
