On November 8 th and 9 th of this year, I had the honor of attending the 24 th Annual California Transportation Foundation (CTF) Transportation Education Symposium in San Jose, California. I was one of three USC students selected to attend; Lei Lily Tam (Lily) and Sarah Orcutt also attended with me.

An invitation to apply for 2019 Study Visit Grants has been made by the Volvo Research and Educational Foundations (VREF). PhD students and early stage researchers are encouraged to apply. The invitation is continuously open until October 31st, 2019, and the study visit should be carried out before December 31st, 2019. On Wednesday, November 7, 2018, METRANS held its annual Industry Outlook event of the year featuring Dr. Jon Coleman, Director of City Solutions for Ford Smart Mobility, LLC.
