Spring 2016 METRANS Research Seminar Schedule

We are pleased to announce our upcoming METRANS Research Seminar Series. The line up includes experts from the fields of engineering, city and regional planning, architecture, and economics.   Link to Spring 2016 Schedule. The first research seminar, titled, “Analysis and Prediction of Spatiotemporal Impact,” will take place on Wednesday, February 10th in RGL 101. The lecture will be jointly presented by Cyrus Shahabi, Director, Integrated Media Systems Center (IMSC) and Associate Director, IMSC, and Ugur Demiryurek Professor of Computer Science and Electrical Eng. at the USC Viterbi School of Engineering. Knatz Wins Transportation Research Grant from Haynes Foundation

METRANS congratulates Dr. Geraldine Knatz, Professor of the Practice of Policy and Engineering, a joint appointment between the USC Price School of Public Policy and the Sonny Astani Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the USC Viterbi School of Engineering, on being awarded a research grant of $49,117 from the John Randolph Haynes and Dora Haynes Foundation.
