"Meeting my mentor has given me a great opportunity to extend my academic studies to the practical field. My mentor, Rawad Hani, shared with me the new trends in the transportation profession, my chosen career path, and taught me how to research it so I could have a comprehensive view of the industry. He suggested that I consider taking courses across disciplines while I am still completing my degree. I learned from Mr. Hani that I can be more versatile and competitive. Rather than focusing solely on engineering, I can be a “plangineer,” which is a professional with skills in both planning and engineering. I am so grateful to him, and am looking forward to his continued guidance as I complete my studies and beyond."
