The Transportation Résumé Book is an annual publication of student resumes provided to the Los Angeles chapter’s corporate partners.  Each year, after the book is published, students are invited to this mixer to meet the partners in an informal setting.

Marking the book’s tenth year, this year’s mixer accommodated college students and recent graduates as well as more than 20 organizations from throughout Southern California. Attendees included students participating in the book along with other students and recent graduates interested in WTS. The professionals that attended represented their organizations at the vice president, hiring manager, and junior levels.

Besides networking, attendees also had the chance to win some great raffle prizes including one-year WTS memberships and exclusive tours at the offices of WTS-LA Corporate Partners. Nicole Guo, a second year transportation engineering student, won the chance of an office tour to Jacobs’s Irvine office. “I am delighted to get this prize. I have always been impressed with the extraordinary services Jacobs provides and I truly want to learn more about the company. Thank you to WTS-LA for providing me with this wonderful opportunity,” she said.
