Please join us in welcoming METRANS WTS Student Liaison Ling Feng to the METRANS student team.  In this position, Ling is responsible for managing the USC and CSULB student communication and involvement with the Los Angeles chapter of WTS, as well as promoting participation in the WTS Transportation Resume Book to colleges and universities throughout the greater Los Angeles region.  Ling will also plan and coordinate METRANS and WTS related events.

Ling Feng is a first-year MPL student in the USC Price School of Public Policy, with a concentration in Transportation and Infrastructure Planning. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Urban and Rural Planning & Resource Management from Peking University (PKU), where she developed a strong interest in transportation and sustainable development.  While at PKU, Ling’s undergraduate research in Chinese High Speed Railway won her the President’s Fund.

Ling is very energetic and passionate; she likes to travel to experience different cultures. Her travel experience has not only broadened her horizons, but has also allowed her to capture images worldwide for numerous photography contests. Ling plays many musical instruments and writes music, was the director and core member of the PKU Drum Circle, and has arranged and led countless performances both on and off campus.

Students interested in becoming more involved with WTS or METRANS are encouraged to contact Ling at [email protected].
