City of Paris launches a bid for city logistics innovations

Paris&Co, the Paris economic development agency, has launched a program to promote innovative experiments in sustainable urban logistics. Thirty-two proposals were submitted in June 2015. Evaluations took place during a two-day audition on June 24-25 in which Laetitia Dablanc (MetroFreight Paris) participated as a member of the jury. Final decisions will be announced at the end of July 2015. Experiments proposed range from the use of a barge for urban freight transportation on the Seine River to accommodation of urban logistics spaces in commercial and office buildings in dense Paris neighborhoods. Both large companies as well as start-ups participated. The description of the program can be found at:
