Welcome to the METRANS blog. Our PERSPECTIVES series is intended to promote informed and open discussion of current transportation questions. We present entries from our faculty experts and guests that reflect different disciplines and points of view.　

This week we invited our experts to respond to the recently reported decline in Southern California’s transit ridership. A Los Angeles Times article on January 27, 2016 has generated a great deal of discussion.  Here are five entries from our faculty public transit experts.
