Aeros is applying its unique electric variable-buoyancy airship technology to shape an entirely new logistics model that addresses today’s supply chain challenges. With more than three decades of airship manufacturing experience and partnerships with the U.S. DoD and NASA, Aeros is developing the Aeroscraft as a platform for infrastructure-independent freight movement, capable of vertical takeoff and hover-based cargo handling without runways or ground crews. The talk will examine how this approach could integrate across first-, middle-, and last-mile logistics, offering advantages in network resilience, cost efficiency, and flexibility compared to traditional hub-and-spoke systems amid increasing geopolitical, climate, and capacity constraints.
