Hear firsthand about the careers of Mr. Hasan Ikhrata and Ms. Coleen Clementson, as well as SANDAG's current initiatives including priority projects and the 2021 Regional Plan. SANDAG is the leading research, planning, and transportation agency for the San Diego region, with elected officials from each of the area’s 18 cities and the county. All are welcome! 

Hasan Ikhrata is CEO of SANDAG. He has over 35 years of transportation planning experience, Bachelor and a Master’s degrees in Civil/Industrial Engineering from Zaporozhye University in the former Soviet Union, a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering from UCLA, and is a doctoral student in Urban Planning and Transportation at USC.

Coleen Clementson is Director of Regional Planning for SANDAG, overseeing work on the 2021 Regional Plan, a strategy for the region’s future growth and development to provide more housing and transportation options while preserving open space and reducing greenhouse gas emissions in accordance with California Climate Change legislation.
