David S. Kim is the Secretary of CalSTA and is responsible for the oversight of 40,000 employees across eight departments and boards. A longtime transportation leader with experience in the private sector as well as all three levels of government, he previously served as Vice President, Government Affairs for Hyundai Motor Company (2017-2019). He earned a B.A. in Political Science from Occidental College and a Master of Public Administration from USC.
