Jeremy Bonifacio of CSULB Selected as 2012 METRANS Student of the Year

Friday, January 4, 2013

Jeremy was honored at the 22nd Annual Outstanding Student of the Year Awards Ceremony that took place on Saturday, January 12, 2013, in Washington, DC.

For the past 21 years, the U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT) has honored an outstanding student from each University Transportation Center at a special ceremony held during the Transportation Research Board Annual Meeting. Each student is recognized during the ceremony by a Departmental official; the Administrator of the Research and Innovative Technology Administration made the presentation last year. The METRANS Outstanding Student of the Year also receives a cash award, a certificate from the USDOT, and the expenses for attendance at the TRB Annual Meeting. The TRB Annual Meeting is the largest meeting of transportation academics and professionals in the world.
