The Summer 2016 Issue of METRANS News is now available.  Click here  for a PDF version. METRANS News  is generally published three times a year and summarizes METRANS research, education and outreach activities. It highlights METRANS researchers, conferences and other events, recent publications, interviews with key individuals involved in METRANS, and other newsworthy activities and events. It is distributed to university transportation centers and faculty throughout the U.S., to federal, state, and local public agencies, and to the transportation industry. Xie first joined METRANS in Spring 2015 as Student Communication Assistant and has since earned his Master of Planning degree from the USC Sol Price School of Public Policy. WCTR 2016 Conference Enhanced by MetroFreight Center of Exellence Research

METRANS Ph.D. Andy Hong Joins UBC as Postdoctoral Fellow

  Recent Ph.D. graduate and METRANS researcher Dr. E-Sok (Andy) Hong has been hired as a postdoctoral research fellow at the School of Population and Public Health in the University of British Columbia. Hong began his studies at USC in the fall of 2011, bringing with him a B.S. in informatics, and two Master’s degrees from the University of Washington – one in urban planning and the other in public administration.  While at USC he worked as a graduate instructor for 500+ level courses. ...
