On September 8, METRANS Faculty, USC Viterbi School of Engineering Vice Dean for Academic Programs and Professor of Industrial and Systems Engineering (ISE), Civil Engineering, and Public Policy Professor, and President Elect of the Institute of Industrial Engineers (IIE) James Moore joined the approximately one million new ALS donors to be doused in ice water to help raise funds for the disease.

Seven transportation PhD students from USC have been selected to present their research at the 54th Annual Conference of the Association of Collegiate Schools of Planning (ACSP) conference, Big Ideas, Global Impacts, to be held October 30 to November 2 in Philadelphia.  The students are:  Sandip Chakrabarti, Andy Hong, Yuting Hou, Mohja Rhoads, Eun Jin Shin, Xize Wang, and Quan Yuan.
