MetroFreight Director Genevieve Giuliano presented her research on freight landscape as a transportation and land use topic of interest at the 9th International Association for China Planning (IACP) Conference at Chongqing University in Chongqing, China from June 19-21, 2015. The theme for the event was “New Urbanization:  Smart Growth and Sustainable Development.”

AFILOG (www.afilog.org), one of the main French logistics providers’ organizations, has teamed up with the MetroFreight Paris team to set up a research project on urban planning issues related to the accommodation of logistics facilities in dense urban centers. The project will last from fall 2015 to the end of June 2016. It will involve a Master’s thesis on the issue, supervised by Laetitia Dablanc.
