Seven transportation PhD students from USC have been selected to present their research at the 54th Annual Conference of the Association of Collegiate Schools of Planning (ACSP) conference, Big Ideas, Global Impacts, to be held October 30 to November 2 in Philadelphia.  The students are:  Sandip Chakrabarti, Andy Hong, Yuting Hou, Mohja Rhoads, Eun Jin Shin, Xize Wang, and Quan Yuan.

METRANS and MetroFreight Directors Gen Giuliano and Tom O'Brien, Researchers Laetitia Dablanc, Eleonora-Morganti, and Qian Wang, and PhD students Shaui (Louis) Tang and Sanggyun Kang represented the MetroFreight Center of Excellence at the 2014 Pan-American Advanced Studies Institute on Sustainable Urban Freight Systems (PASI-SUFS) held from August 3rd through August 15th in Bogota, Colombia.  USC Price Urban Planning PhD student Sanggyun Kang was awarded Volvo Research and Educational Foundations sponsorship to the full two weeks of the conference.
